Texas BBQ RibsThis recipe is for those who don't have a slow-cook smoker
Pour 2-3 beers in a stock pot and bring to a boil. Remove the membrane on the under side of the ribs with pliers. Cut the rib slabs in half or in thirds so that they will fit easily into the boiling beer. Cook one piece at a time for 4-5 minutes, remove, add them to the broiling pan with the meat facing up, and apply liberal amounts of Granddaddy’s Texas BBQ Rub to both sides. Next, pile on 1/4 inch of brown sugar. Fill the bottom of the broiling pan with the beer boil liquid and cover entirely with aluminum foil to seal it. Pre-heat your oven or grill to 250 degrees. Place the ribs in the oven and allow them to slow cook for 3-4 hours. Carefully remove the foil and brush on several coats of our award winning BBQ Sauce. Allow the sauce to cook for 15 minutes. With the right techniques and award winning products, you can bring the taste of Texas to your next outdoor BBQ. Enjoy!
